Refund & Billing Policy

This policy explains exactly how billing and Vendy Credits work: how Credits are granted, spent and refunded, how subscriptions renew and how to cancel. It forms part of, and is consistent with, our Terms of Use.

  • Subscription Credits reset to zero at the start of each billing period and the plan's full allocation is granted. They do not roll over.
  • Purchased (top-up) Credits never expire — they can be bought only while your subscription is active.
  • Credits are charged only after a successful generation. A failed generation is not charged, or is refunded to your balance.
  • A refund or chargeback removes the corresponding Credits from your balance.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew each period; you can cancel anytime and keep spending until the current period resets.

Vendy Credits.

Vendy is sold as Credits you spend on outputs (photos, posters, before/afters, video and more). There are two kinds of Credits, and they behave differently:

  • Subscription Credits — the monthly or annual allocation included with your plan.
  • Purchased (top-up) Credits — extra Credits you buy on top of your plan.

Subscription Credits reset each period.

At the start of each billing period your subscription-Credit balance resets to zero and your plan's full allocation is granted. Subscription Credits do not roll over — unused subscription Credits from the previous period are not carried forward.

Example: on a plan of 5,000 Credits, if you use 3,000 in a period, the remaining 2,000 subscription Credits do not carry over — the next period begins with a fresh 5,000.

Renewal, grace & redemption.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. The next period's Credits are granted only after a successful renewal payment. If a renewal payment fails, we retry during a short grace period; Credits for the new period are not granted until payment succeeds.

Cancellation.

You can cancel anytime from your account. When you cancel, no new subscription Credits are granted at the next renewal. The subscription Credits already in your balance remain spendable until the end of the current period, after which they reset.

To cancel: open Billing in your account, choose Cancel subscription, and confirm. There is no retention maze and no requirement to email us to cancel.

Top-up Credits never expire.

Purchased (top-up) Credits do not expire on renewal, cancellation or plan change — they remain in your account until you use them. Top-up Credits can be purchased only while you hold an active subscription.

Credits are charged only after a successful generation.

Credits are deducted only after a generation completes successfully on our servers. If a generation fails, Credits are not charged, or are returned to your balance automatically — you never pay for a failed generation.

You spend Credits on results, not on attempts. A failed generation costs you nothing.

Refunds & chargebacks.

Where a refund is issued or a chargeback is raised for a purchase, the corresponding Credits are removed from your balance. If those Credits have already been spent, the removal may result in a negative balance that must be settled before further use.

  • Duplicate or accidental charges: refunded, and the related Credits are removed.
  • Billed after a confirmed cancellation: refunded.
  • Credits not delivered for a paid period: re-credited or refunded.

Purchases are final.

Except where a refund is required by applicable law or by an app-store policy that governs your purchase, all payments for subscriptions and top-up Credits are final and non-refundable. Consumed Credits — outputs you generated and kept — are non-refundable; failed generations are already handled automatically as described above.

Statutory rights, including any local consumer-law cooling-off rights, apply on top of this policy and are not affected by it.

Auto-renewal & how to cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, as chosen) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your next charge date is shown in your account before and after purchase. Cancel anytime from Billing in your account; cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of the current period.

Billing cycle & charges.

Prices are shown in your account and on our Pricing page in USD; taxes may apply based on your location. Monthly plans are billed each month; annual plans are billed once for the year and state clearly that they are billed annually. Payments are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider.

How to get help with a charge.

  • Email support@vendy.ai from your account email.
  • Tell us the charge date and what went wrong.
  • We aim to reply within a couple of business days.

Changes.

If we change how billing works, we will update this page and the effective date, and give notice of material changes before they affect you.
